Janmastami

We celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna today........but i today hang with my girlfriend..we did some shopping and visited the major temples celebrating Janmastami...the college was closed today ...so i missed my friends a lot.A student seeking me called today for teaching computer applications and mathematics.A girl of class XI in commerce stream.She asked me about my remuneration, i instantly said i charge 500 rupees per subject.She was a bit surprised but i strictly told her the price is fixed not negotiable.She thought for a moment and asked me to visit her house tommorow.

Blood Donation Camp

Today is the eve of janmastami.....the birth of omnipotent Lord Krishna.The day started as usual but my sleep was disturbed by a loud speaker that announced the commencement of a blood donation camp organised by the local TMC here in my hometown Burdwan.Lots of eminent dignitaries visited to make it a grand success.Although personally i feel most of the people came here for free sweets offered and a grand lunch served with Chicken and Rice....needlessly to say the true purpose of this event was not served....nothing unusual... as most of this type of public welfare work go in vain.At the end of the day everyone seemed happy the party members for the big donation,the donors for the  lunch and the sweeets,the RED CROSS the reciever of all the blood.
